The site is a reading experience. It serves static pages from a content delivery network, keeps the standard server logs that hosting requires, and receives email when readers choose to write. Its design sets zero tracking cookies, carries zero advertising and involves zero data sales. This policy explains the rest.
2. Who is responsible
AI Agent Infra, an independent research and journalism publication edited by Ryan Elliott Dennis, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact for privacy matters: editor@aiagentinfra.com.
3. Data the site processes
Server and edge logs. The hosting provider, Vercel Inc., records the technical details of each request: IP address, user agent, requested path, referrer, timestamp and response status. These logs exist to serve pages, absorb abuse and diagnose faults.
Aggregate performance data. The hosting platform may report aggregate, anonymized metrics such as page-load timing and request counts. These figures describe the site as a whole and stay anonymous by construction.
Email. Readers who write to editor@aiagentinfra.com share their address, their name if they include it, and whatever the message contains. The address forwards, via the domain registrar’s email forwarding service, to a mailbox operated by Google.
Browser storage. The site stores zero identifiers in cookies, local storage or session storage. Preferences such as a chosen keyboard shortcut live in the page while it is open and vanish when it closes.
4. Why the site processes data, and on what basis
Serving pages, keeping the site secure and answering correspondence are the purposes. For readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving a publication, and, for correspondence, the reader’s own request. For readers in U.S. states with privacy statutes, the site processes data solely to provide the service the reader asked for.
5. Who else sees the data
Service providers process data on the publisher’s behalf and under their own security commitments: Vercel Inc. (hosting and logs, United States), GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC (domain registration and email forwarding, United States) and Google LLC (mailbox, United States). The publisher shares personal data with authorities when a valid legal demand requires it, and with successors if the publication changes hands, under this same policy. Every other disclosure requires the reader’s consent.
6. International transfers
Hosting and editing happen in the United States, and data described above is processed there. Providers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
7. Retention
Hosting logs rotate on the provider’s standard schedule, typically within 30 days. Email correspondence stays as long as the conversation it belongs to remains relevant, and readers can ask for deletion at any time. Aggregate metrics contain zero personal data and may be kept indefinitely.
8. Reader rights
Readers may ask what personal data the publisher holds about them, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing, request portability of correspondence they sent, and, where the law provides it, lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests reach editor@aiagentinfra.com; the publisher responds within 30 days and may ask for enough information to confirm identity. Readers in California may exercise the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act grants them; the site sells zero personal information and shares zero personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a content security policy, strict transport security and restrictive framing headers. Access to the mailbox and hosting account is protected by multi-factor authentication. Readers should keep sensitive personal or financial details out of email to the site; the publisher deletes such details on request.
10. Children
The site is written for advanced readers and is intended for people aged 16 and older. On request, the publisher deletes any personal data a younger reader has sent by mistake.
